Abstract:
To reduce probability that regeneration is not completed in a receiver, to raise use efficiency of a band and to reduce computational complexity in generating or decoding a redundant symbol in a transmitter/receiver.
This transmitter includes means for: coding data to generate a source symbol; generating the redundant symbol from the source symbol; transmitting the source symbol and the redundant symbol, or the redundant symbol; and receiving feedback information from the receiver. The transmitter stops the means for transmitting the source symbol when completion notification for notifying that the regeneration of the source symbol is completed is received by the receiver as the feedback information.
