Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a kneading process and the quality of construction by a method wherein unshaped refractory mattern is prevented from being turned in lumps at the transporting and storing of the unshaped refractory matter with containers.
SOLUTION: Unshaped refractory matter is transported with metal plate containers 1, each of which has an upward convergent tapered opening part, to a mixer 6 near a construction site, at which the container 1 is turned upside down for charging the unshaped refractory mattern in the mixer 6 in order to be kneaded after water or the like is added. Since the container 1 is made of metal plate, no unshaped refractory matter is pressurized at its unloading and stacking, no unshaped refractory hardens before its kneading. Accordingly, the efficiency of the kneading work of the unshaped refractory matter is contrived to improve and its enough homogeneous kneading becomes possible and the quality of lining can be improved.
