Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform travel control of traveling objects by accurately detecting the positions of a plurality of traveling objects even when the positions come close and also accurately detecting the position of a traveling object at an optional point of time.
SOLUTION: A plurality of self-traveling robots are provided with a light emitting device with identifiable different light colors, a color image sensor detects a light emitting state and a light unremitting state of the light emitting device as two-dimensional image information, a position detection object candidate of each self-traveling robot is extracted by performing color separation and comparison of the two-dimensional image information, whether or not the position detection object candidate is a normal position detection object candidate is decided to determine the current position of each self-traveling robot, and traveling control is performed on the basis of the current position and a target position.
