Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound useful as toys, a detecting agent for various diagnostic agents, an emergency light source, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [(a) is 2-4; X1 and X2 are organic group or, together with N, may form a ring; either of X1 and X2 may be H, etc.], e.g. 1,2,4-trioxa-3-cyclohexyl-5-[10-[1-(4-carboxypiperidino) carbonyl]-9-anthrylamino]spiro-[-5,5]undecane. The compound expressed by formula I is obtained by reacting an anthracenamine derivative expressed by formula II with an aldehydic derivative expressed by formula III and oxygen in a solvent (e.g. benzene) at ambient temperature. This compound expressed by formula I has a strcyhger luminous quantity than that of 5-(9- anthrylamino)-6,6-dimethyl-3-isopropyl-1,2,4-trioxane.
