Abstract:

To increase an axle load of a front-rear axle (a driving axle) only when a vehicle starts (only when the driving force occurs), by utilizing a driving force of a driving wheel.

In this trunnion suspension mechanism for a rear two-axle vehicle, a front-rear axle case 14 and a rear-rear axle case 20 respectively support a driving axle and a driven axle. An upper front rod 5 and a lower rear rod 18 are disposed in forward tilting states, while a lower front rod 15 and an upper rear rod 8 are disposed in rearward tilting states. A front end of the lower front rod 15 is attached to a corner part in a boundary between a rear face and a lower face of the front-rear axle case 14 having a square shape in section.
