To provide a trunnion type leaf suspension device with a simple structure capable of bearing on high load.
A trunnion base 15 is mounted to a chassis frame 5 through a trunnion spacer 16. A lower saddle 24 is rotatably supported to the trunnion base 15 through a spring shaft 23. A leaf spring 25 is supported to the lower saddle 24 and front and rear ends of the leaf spring 25 are placed on front/rear axles 11, 12 of a rear wheel. Side stoppers 33 are mounted to front and rear side of a side surface mounting plate 16a of the trunnion spacer 16 respectively. The side stopper 33 is slidably formed against the trunnion spacer 16 and a gap adjustment mechanism 37 for clamping a shim 40 at the gap is constituted. Bump stoppers 43 are mounted to the front and rear ends of the trunnion spacer 16.
