Abstract:
To produce a tubularly molded article excellent in filtration accuracy and provide an effective production method.
This tubular article is composed of a web containing more than 30wt.%. of fusing fiber wound in a tube and the fibers at the crossing points are fused, and contains 30-70wt.%. of fibers having the orientation angle of 30-150°. This tubularly molded article is produced by integrating the web containing 30-70wt.% of fusing fiber on the conveyer allowing this web to fold in a zigzag way in the width direction, orienting the fiber by drawing 1.5-10 times in the machine direction with a drawing machine and taking up the web around the core while heating the web to the temperature higher than the fusing temperature.
