Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent propeller vibromotive force from being transmitted to the hull, by forming a skeg-form stern central part in a mutual interval between symmtrical cutup type ship bottom surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A symmetrical pair of propellers 1 are installed beneath the bottom of the buttock, while rudders 2 are set up at the more rearward than each propeller 1. In addition, in front of each propeller 1, symmetrical bottom surfaces 3, ranging frm a hull part proximate to these propellers to a stern part being more rearward than these propellers are formed as a cutup type ship bottom surface being cut up to the ship side end exposed upward the surface of the water. And, a skeg-form stern central part 4 is formed in a mutual interval between symmetrical cutup type ship bottom surfaces.
