Title:
ULTRAFINE STAPLE-CONTAINING COMPOSITE NONWOVEN FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000017558
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a composite nonwoven fabric obtained by stably intertwisting ultrafine staples in a staple nonwoven fabric and continuous-fibers in continuous-fiber nonwoven fabric, wherein the staple nonwoven fabric and continuous-fiber nonwoven fabric are joinably well laminated on one another.

This composite nonwoven fabric is in the form of lamination comprising a stretchable continuous-fiber nonwoven fabric formed of non-dividable continuous- fibers and a staple nonwoven fabric formed of ultrafine staples produced from divided fibers of dividable staple. The continuous-fiber fabric is provided with a heat fusion section in a specific state formed by heat-fusing continuous-fibers together, wherein the continuous-fibers in other sections than the heat fusion section is arranged along the longitudinal direction and disposed to easily move in the latitudinal direction. The staple nonwoven fabric comprises intertwisted ultrafine staples produced by a highly pressurized liquid flow treatment applied to the dividable staples. In the lamination surface between the stretchable continuous-fiber nonwoven fabric and staple nonwoven fabric, the easily movable non-dividable continuous-fibers and ultrafine staples are stably intertwisted and well joined with each other via the high-pressure fluid jet.
