Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the S/N ratio of an image forming the interest area of an operator even when an ultrasonic probe is used under an environment with many induction noises.

CONSTITUTION: An encoder 5 for outputting the detection signal (A-phase) of the rotating angle of an ultrasonic oscillator 2, the shift resistor 25 of a rotating angle detecting signal delay part 20 for delaying the rotating angle detection signal, a hand switch SW21 and the counter 27 of the rotating angle detection signal delay part 20 to optionally vary the delay quantity of the rotating angle detection signal, a frequency divider 26, and a crystal oscillator 45 are provided. While the operator continues to push the hand SW 21, the rotating angle detection signal is gradually delayed as the ultrasonic oscillator is rotated once, and the state where an interest area is affected by an induction noise is changed to the state where the induction noise gradually trails from the part of the interest area. When the induction noise further trails away from the interest area, the influence of the induction noise can be removed from an ultrasonic observing picture.
