To provide an under path constructing method at an intersection, which contributes to reduction in facility cost and construction cost, and shortening of a construction period, and to provide an under path structure, as well as an underground structure and a method of constructing the underground structure.
The under path constructing method is provided for constructing an under path 10 at an intersection at which a plurality of roads 10, 12 intersect each other, by reconstructing part of the roads. According to the method, earth retaining walls 11, 11 are formed by embedding steel pipes 18 or section steels side by side without forming a gap therebetween on both sides of the road to be reconstructed as the under path 10, and a lining section 13 on which the road 12 other than the under path 10 is laid is formed at a location of the intersection. Then the lining section 13 is borne by the earth retaining walls 11, and then earth between the earth retaining walls 11, 11 embedded on both the sides of the road to be reconstructed as the under path 10, is excavated, to thereby construct the under path 10.
