PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the floor face and improve fine appearance by forming such structure that a door for covering the upper face of the underfloor storage box of a kitchen is not exposed to the floor face of the kitchen.
CONSTITUTION: A guide rail 34 is laid in the underfloor storage space 10 of a kitchen 13, and underfloor storage boxes 31, 33 are moved along the guide rails 34 by a motor 38. The internal space of a kitchen unit 22 installed on the underfloor storage space 10 is communicated with the underfloor storage space 10 through an opening 26 and also with the interior space of the kitchen 13 through doors 27, 28 provided at the front face of the kitchen unit 22. The underfloor storage boxes 31, 33 are moved to place the desired part opposedly to the opening 26, and when the doors 27, 28 are opened in this state, articles can be put in and out of the underfloor storage boxes 31, 33 through the internal space of the kitchen unit 22 and the opening 26.
