Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the construction of an underground structure, by using both large precast concrete products and small and light architectural blocks in cable ducts in various factories or urban utility tunnels.
SOLUTION: A foundation 9 like foundation rubble stones, leveling concrete, etc., is constructed on the bottom of an excavated hole 8 and a precast concrete member composed of opposite walls 1c and footing beams 1d is laid thereon. The outside of the opposite walls 1c is charged with back-filling earth 10. A cast-in-place base concrete 2 is placed in the bottom between the footing beams. In this time, reinforcements 5 are set at the same time. Architectural blocks 3 are stacked by turns with piercing reinforcements 5 to construct an intermediate wall 4 and finally a cover 6 is put thereon. Accordingly, necessary and minimum concrete is placed at site. Since the architectural blocks 3 have such size and weight that workers can easily handle with their power, the structure can be constructed even in a narrow space. And the intermediate wall 4 can be easily formed to have an arbitrary shape in accordance with the use conditions.
