Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use a substituted amine having agonistic or antagonistic function on a nicotinic receptor for the treatment or prevention of brain function disorder. CONSTITUTION: A substituted amine of formula I [R is H, an acyl, an alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, a heteroaryl or a heteroarylalkyl; A is H, or a mono functional group of an acyl, an alkyl or an aryl; E is an electroattracting group; X is CH= or =N (CH= can be linked to Z in stead of H); Z is an alkyl, OR, SR, formula II, or a bifunctional group linked to A or X] is used as a medicine for treating and preventing brain function disorder. Further, a substituted amine of formula III [R<1> is (substituted) pyridinyl-3-yl; (n) is 1 or 2] is used. Furthermore, a substituted amine of formula IV [R<2> is (substituted) 1,3-thiazol-5-yl] is used. Especially, 3-[(6-chloro-3-pyridinyl)methyl]-N-nitor-2-thiazoleidinimine, etc., is preferable.
