Abstract:
To provide utensils with an ascendable/descendable top plate on which support members for supporting the ascendable/descendable top plate are not obstructive and which ensure a high support strength.SOLUTION: A face-to-face counter 1 includes a stationary counter 2 which has vertical beams 5 erected on a floor surface and a stationary top plate 6 fixed to the top of the vertical beams 5. An ascendable/descendable counter 3 facing the stationary counter 2 comprises telescopic ascendable/descendable support members 14 coupled to the vertical beams 5 by way of a first mounting bracket 22 and a second mounting bracket 23, top plate brackets 15 fixed to the top of the ascendable/descendable support members 14, and an ascendable/descendable top plate 16 fixed to the top plate brackets 15. The ascendable/descendable support members 14 are fixed to vicinities of a rear end surface of the stationary top plate 6. A side plate 12 is provided to each of both sides of the stationary top plate 6 of the stationary counter 2 to secure the stationary top plate 6. The side plates 12 are provided to both sides of the stationary top plate 6 and of the ascendable/descendable top plate 16. A rear end tail 25 is suspended from the rear of the ascendable/descendable top plate in a gap K between the vertical beams 5 and the ascendable/descendable support members 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
