To obtain a new polypeptide having a same amino acid sequence with an associated antigen of Helicobacter pylori of a specific molecular weight or its mutated type amino acid sequence, showing a high eradication rate of a causing bacteria of a digestive tract and useful as a safe vaccine composition, etc.
This vaccine composition for an infection of Helicobacter pylori, is a new recombinant polypeptide having a same amino acid sequence with an associated antigen of Helicobacter pylori having approximately 20 kDa molecular weight or a mutated type amino acid sequence containing at least one mutation selected from s substitution, a deficiency, an addition or an insertion in the sequence, showing a high eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori which is considered to be a cause of digestive tract diseases such as gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer, etc., useful as a production of a safe vaccine composition and used for the treatment of duodenal ulcer, gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer and gastric MALT lymphoma. The polypeptide is obtained by isolating a genom DNA from Helicobacter pylori, preparing an expression library, screening the same with an antigen, etc., and expressing the obtained gene.
