PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a hand operation part whose strength has been improved without deteriorating operability.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body equipped with an electric blower and a dust collecting part, an air channel forming body connected to the cleaner body, and a hand operation part forming part of the air channel forming body. The hand operation part includes a tube part and an arch part branched from the tube part. The arch part is part of a handle gripped by a user, and has a space inside.
