PURPOSE: To provide a valve drive device which is constituted to be formed in a compact manner in such a way that a booster is located in a gas tank sealed with compression gas, such as incombustible gas, and eliminate a fear of fluid leaking to the outside, and provide excellent safety and economical efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A valve drive device is constituted in such a manner that a cutoff valve or a discharge valve 2 located in a pipe line 1 for feeding fluid is operated; a booster 6 is arranged in a gas tank 4, a part of the booster 6 and the gas tank 4 are intercommunicated at the interior, and the booster 6 is connected to the cylinder 3a of an actuator 3 for driving a valve; and by driving the actuator 3 by a pressure boosted by the booster 6 by means of the pressure, serving as a power source, of the gas tank 4, the cutoff valve or the discharge valve 2 is operated.
