Title:
VAPORISING FUEL CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3134704
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform the feed of oil to a fuel tank by a method wherein when, during the feed of oil to the fuel tank, abnormality occurs to a vaporizing fuel control device, the tank internal pressure of a fuel tank is increased to a value higher than that during ordinary operation, a pressure escape mechanism is operated and the tank internal pressure is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: When, during the stop of an internal combustion engine 2, a tank internal pressure in a fuel tank 16 attains a given set pressure, a tank internal pressure control valve 42 is temporarily opened to open an evaporation passage 32, and vaporizing fuel in the fuel tank 16 is guided to the canister 36 side and collected. Further, when a feed gun is inserted in a feed pipe 20 to feed oil to the fuel tank 16, a check valve 68 is opened through the increase of the tank internal pressure and fuel steam is guided through a communication passage 64 to the canister 36. When the feed of oil, the tank pressure is abnormally increased to some cause, the diaphragm 96 of a relief valve 92 is pushed up for opening, the tank pressure is caused to flow out through a pressure escape passage 90, and the feed oil is practicable.
