Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body structure for an automobile capable of decreasing the weight of a vehicle while keeping the strength of reinforcement.
The vehicle body structure for an automobile comprises a cabin 1 on which an occupant gets; side sills 61R, 62L respectively disposed on right and left sides of the cabin 1; shock absorbing members 69R, 69L respectively joined to right and left sides on a vehicle body front side of the side sills 61R, 61L, and absorbing collision energy from a vehicular front side; a front wheel 42 disposed between the shock absorbing members 69R, 69L; and rear wheels 2RR, 2RF disposed on right and left sides of a vehicle as driving wheels.
