Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fuel consumption while reflecting the driving characteristics of a driver and road conditions.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus (50) is a vehicle control apparatus for a vehicle (1) that includes an engine (10) and a motor (30) as a traveling-drive source, a generator (30) and a battery (40) electrically connected to the motor and generator respectively. The vehicle control apparatus includes control means (50) for controlling charging and discharging of the battery so as to suppress chances of the generator generating using power of the engine in a case where a regeneration charging ratio that is a ratio of a regeneration charging amount to a total charging amount during the vehicle traveling is higher than a given reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
