To provide a vehicle control device which can suppress camber angles of wheels from being changed from prescribed angles while suppressing energy consumption, related to a vehicle which can adjust the camber angles of the wheels by a drive force of an actuator.
When there are irregularities not lower than prescribed values on a road face (S105: Yes), a large suspension stroke is generated at the vehicle when the vehicle passes on the irregularities, and when an external force is applied to the vehicle in this state, there arises a possibility that the camber angles of the wheels may be changed from the prescribed angles. Accordingly in this state (S105: Yes), a camber adjusting mechanism is set in a servo-lock state in advance before the vehicle passes on the irregularities by executing a second correction means in advance (S121). As a result, it can surely be suppressed that the camber angles of the wheels are changed by the action of the external force.
