To provide an on-vehicle equipment remote control device which achieves compatibility of radio noise countermeasure and a good power source power utilization factor at low cost.
The on-vehicle equipment remote control device has an operation control means for transmitting/receiving a signal between an on-vehicle transmission antenna and a portable machine and controlling the operation state of the on-vehicle equipment when code checking of a return signal returned from the portable machine is performed. The device is also provided with: an antenna drive control means provided with a wave form switching control means 604 for selecting and leading any one of a sine wave signal generated by a sine wave generation means 603 and a rectangular wave signal Vp generated by a rectangular wave generation means; and a transmission circuit part 17a inputted with the sine wave signal or the rectangular wave signal selected by the wave form switching control means and outputting a transmission antenna drive output Vo of a wave form corresponding to the inputted wave form as a drive means for driving the transmission antennas 11a-12d. The transmission antenna is driven by switching to sine wave driving or rectangular wave driving according to the use circumstance.
