Abstract:
To provide a vehicle seat that enables highly accurate measurement of the weight of an occupant even when the power source voltage applied to the electric motor changes.
A seat body 3 is moved by a distance L set beforehand along the track of a slide mechanism 5 by the rotation drive of an electric motor 7. Power consumption WM of the electric motor 7 that is required to move this seat body 3 by the distance L along the track is calculated. Load applied to the seat body 3 (for example, weight of the occupant 1 seated in the seat body 3) mM is calculated based on the calculated power consumption WM.
