Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine whether, for example, a part of a body such as a hand, a face, etc., or a body such as baggage is protruding from a cabin without any rise in cost.SOLUTION: A camera 3 is composed of a monocular camera, and photographs a range including a vehicle window which can be opened and closed and a range including a mirror surface of a side mirror reflecting a circumference of the vehicle window. An image analysis part 5b analyzes an image photographed by the camera 3. A determination part 5c determines whether a body is protruding from a cabin using an analysis result obtained by the image analysis part 5b for a direct image in which the range including the vehicle window is photographed by the camera 3, and an analysis result obtained by the image analysis part 5b for an indirect image in which the range including the mirror surface is photographed by the camera 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
