To provide a vibration-proofing device capable of omitting a drawing process on an outer cylindrical member and maintaining durability.
A vibration-proofing device 1 connects two bushes mounted on a vibration source side and a vibration receiving side and connected to each other, in which the bush includes a vibration-proofing base body 30 formed of a rubber elastic body adhered to an inner face of an outer cylinder member 20. The vibration-proofing base body 30 has a through-hole 31 formed penetrating in the axial direction. A cylindrical part 12 of an inner cylinder member 10 is press-fitted into the through-hole 31. By press-fitting the cylindrical part 12 into the through-hole 31, the diameter of the through-hole 31 is increased, which compresses the vibration-proofing base body 30 between the cylindrical part 12 and the outer cylinder member 20. Thereby, a compressive force is effected on the adhesion interface between the inner face of the outer cylinder member 20 and the vibration-proofing base body 30, which can eliminate a tensile strain on the adhesion interface between the outer cylinder member 20 and the vibration-proofing base body 30 without subjecting the outer cylinder member 20 to a drawing process; and durability of the vibration-proofing device 1 can be maintained.
