PURPOSE: To provide a vice chuck for a sticklike material which can carry out sure fixation into a proper state even if the sticklike material is the tapered one whose top and bottom are different sizewise, and realizes excellently precise cutting processing for the sticklike material.
CONSTITUTION: This vice chuck for a sticklike material is hangingly provided with connection pieces 14a, 14b having flexibility each, on the lower surfaces of a pair of holing portions 11a, 11b to hold the upper portion side of the sticklike material 26 and is projectingly provided with push-pressing pieces 15a, 15b to support the lower portion side of the sticklike material 26, at the lower end portions of the connection pieces 14a, 14b. Accordingly, when this chuck 10 is used, the holding portions 11a, 11b support the upper portion side of the sticklike material 26 and the push-pressing pieces 15a, 15b support its lower portion side even if the sticklike material 26 is tapered. So firm fixation can be realized in a proper state without the center axis of the sticklike material 26 being shifted. As a result, cutting processing with excellent precision can be realized.
