A male screw part 16a of an operating member 16 is screwengaged with a screw hole 12a of a support member 12 fixed to the end part of a vice body 11. A support shaft 18 integrated with a movable clamp member 17 is inserted in an insert hole 16b of the operating member 16. A pressing pin 21 is stored in a storing hole 17d formed in the movable clamp member 17 to reciprocate in the longitudinal direction, and the pressing pin 21 is energized in the projecting direction by a coil spring 23. When the operating member 16 is turned, the movable clamp member 17 and the pressing pin 21 advance, the clamp surface 21c of the pressing pin 21 abuts on the surface of a work W, and then the movable clamp member 17 further advances so that the pressing pin 21 is pressed by the coil spring 23 to clamp the work W with proper pressing force.
