Title:
VIDEO CAMERA APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006086809
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a video camera apparatus which always makes a backup of photoed video image recording even if recording media faults, or if the recording capacity of the recording media is filled up and the recording media needs to be replaced.

The video camera apparatus includes: a photographing element 11 which photoelectric transduces the optical image of an object and forms video data; a signal processing circuit 14 for signal processing the video data from the photographing element 11; and a media controller 16a which sequentially transfer controls the video data from the signal processing circuit 14 and records it on recording media 17a. The video camera apparatus includes a semiconductor memory 17b which sequentially transfer controls the video data from the signal processing circuit 14 by a memory controller 16b, and which records the video data on the recording media 17a. When the transfer control is performed and the video data from the photographing element 11 is recorded on the recording media 17a, the same video data as this is always recorded on the semiconductor memory 17b.
