Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set a measurement frame to an object with high accuracy at based on a hue signal at a small region so as to set the measurement frame.
CONSTITUTION: A display screen PIC is set to be one measurement frame as a whole and a gravity center of a face model comes to the central position of the display screen PIC. A tracking signal processing circuit 16 sets an initial field number, the display screen PIC is divided into 32×32 small areas AR, as to a picture element included in each small area AR, a count result of a skin color picture element number counter 18 and a hair picture element number counter 22 is obtained by the result of detection of a skin color detection circuit 19 and a hair detection circuit 20, and when a small area is the candidate of a skin color area, skin color area object detection information S12 is fetched by using the count result, and when the small area AR is the candidate of a hair area, hair area object detection information S13 is fetched.
