PURPOSE: To simplify the attachment/detachment at change in the image pickup mode and to simplify the component management.

CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with a camera main body A having a shoulder pad 10 and a camera head 21 which are removable, and the camera head 21 of the camera main body A is provided with a removable tripod adaptor 1, and a dovetail groove 2 and a wedge 15 to which the tripod adaptor 1 and shoulder pad 10 are removable are provided. Thus, a change from the image pickup by installation of the video camera onto the tripod adaptor 1 into the image pickup by shoulder-holding of the video camera and vice versa is made passible by attaching/detaching of the shoulder pad 10 and the tripod adaptor 1, then the operation at the image pickup mode change is well attained only by the operation between the two components. Furthermore, in the camera image pickup by the installation to the tripod adaptor 1, it is not required to store the shoulder pad 10.
