Title:
VIDEO WORKING TIME MONITORING TIMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05166026
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely and easily eliminate such VDT (video display device) faults at the low cost as the deterioration of eyesight, the vomiting, etc., of a video worker by freeing the worker from becoming enthusiastic in the video working for a long time or from caring about taking the recesses, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A working time counter 52 and a recess time counter 53 accumulate the working time and the recess time of a video worker respectively based on the presence or absence of output of the detection signal sent from a sensor 18 which detects the presence of the video worker and outputs a detection signal. The time accumulated by both counters 52 and 53 are shown on a working time display 16 and a recess time display 17 respectively. If the total video working time is equal to the allowable working time set previously before the total recess time reaches a prescribed level, the warning means 51, 16 and 17 give the alarms to the video worker respectively.
