Abstract:
To provide a system for voice ducking with spatial speech separation for a vehicle audio system.SOLUTION: A vehicle loudspeaker system includes at least two microphones forming a microphone array, at least one loudspeaker configured to emit non-human sound, and a processor programmed to receive incoming audio signals from the microphone array. The processor applies beamforming to the incoming voice signal to determine if human-generated voice is detected in the voice signal, and is programmed to instruct the loudspeaker to adjust a non-human sound in response to human generated sound being detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
