Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement an oscillation at a stable frequency with a minor temperature characteristic on an oscillation frequency ceiling value.SOLUTION: A voltage-controlled oscillator having an input terminal for inputting an external voltage signal, a voltage-current conversion section for converting the input voltage to a current proportional to the voltage, and an oscillation section for generating an output signal at a frequency depending on the current includes an input impedance correction circuit provided with a plurality of resistors connected in series between the input terminal and a reference potential to set a constant input impedance, and configured to divide the voltage input from an input section by means of the resistors and output the divided voltage to the voltage-current conversion section via transistors for canceling a temperature characteristic of the resistors.
