To provide a walking toy which is miniaturized further by simplifying an internal structure and for which walking is made possible by using an electromagnet and a permanent magnet.

The walking toy is composed of a first movable part and a second movable part, and the first movable part and the second movable part are connected so as to be freely turned by a support shaft. The first movable part incorporates a battery and is provided with the permanent magnet and is also provided with a switch for energizing the electromagnet on a bottom surface plate. The second movable part is provided with the electromagnet to be operated by the switch, the lower end of the second movable part is turned to a rear foot to be a grounding part and the front end of the bottom part of the first movable part is projected more to the front than the lower end of the second movable part and is turned to a front foot as a grounding part.
