Abstract:
To provide a walking toy having a walking mechanism different from that of conventional one.SOLUTION: A walking toy 1 performing walking movement, when a trunk 10 is moved forward, comprises the trunk 10 and two legs 20. The walking toy includes a crank member 60 having a pair of eccentric crank shafts 62. Each leg has a pair of moving members 50 configured to apply turning force to the crank member, when the trunk is moved forward. Each moving member includes an eccentric shaft connecting part 53 swingably connected to a corresponding eccentric crank shaft, a trunk coacting member 52, and an action part on which force receiving from a walking surface acts. The trunk coacting member includes a projection 56 formed thereon, while the trunk includes a groove 17 formed thereon. When the action part of one leg is moved rearward, one moving member moves to add the turning force to the crank member, and is moved forward of the other leg by the rotation of the crank member and then, grounded on the walking surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
