Abstract:

To stabilize the detection of warp breakage in a dropper pin type warp breakage detection device.

This warp breakage detection device contains a warp breakage detection section for receiving a dropper signal outputted from a dropper device and subsequently comparing the received dropper signal with a threshold to detect the presence or absence of the warp breakage, and a warp opening state signal-generating section for outputting warp opening state signals expressing warp opening states such as a warp opening pattern and a warp opening degree to the warp breakage detection section during a weaving operation, and changes the detection sensitivity of the warp breakage detection section on the basis of the warp breakage detection section. Thereby, the detection sensitivity is changed in response to the change in the height of the warp from the dropper device, the change in a force acting on a weaving opening or the change in the tension of the warp.
