To provide a washing drying machine in which a detection error by a bubble detection means is hard to occur.
The washing drying machine includes a drying air circulation supply system to dehumidify and heat drying air coming out of an outer tank to be returned to the outer tank. The drying air circulation supply system includes a dehumidifying duct to introduce drying air discharged from a lower part of the outer tank upward while dehumidifying it, a blow means to feed the drying air, and a heating means to heat the dehumidified drying air. The bubble detection means is provided to detect bubbles rising in a dehumidifying duct. The dehumidifying duct has a vertically elongated air passage in which cooling water flows down from the top. The vertically elongated air passage is provided with a number of cooling fins projecting on an inner surface on one side, and a flat surface on the opposite inner surface facing the cooling fins. The bubble detection means includes a contact electrode to detect the bubbles which are in contact with it, and the contact electrode is exposed on the side of the flat surface in the vertically elongated air passage.
