Title:
WASHER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02203898
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively reduce noise produced by a motor by bearing a bracket of a motor on a motor support portion disposed on the outside of a water receiving tank through a buffer member.

CONSTITUTION: A motor support portion 7 is tightened and fixed from below with a screw 8 on the lower end of a boss portion 6 projected downward on the outer base portion of a water receiving tank 2. The motor support portion 7 is formed substantially like a horse-shoe and disposed in such a manner as to fit a motor 6 in the inside thereof. A lower bolt 11 of a buffer member 9 is inserted from above in a bolt passing hole 12 and a bolt passing hole 14 is passed from above through an upper bolt 10 to tighten nuts 15, 16. When the motor 5 is operated to rotate a stirring vane or a rotary tank at the time of washing, rinsing and dehydration, though mechanical vibration and electromagnetic vibration are generated from the inside of the motor 5 so that the vibration is transmitted to a bracket 13, the vibration can be effectively damped and absorbed to restrain transmission of vibration to the motor support portion 7 because the buffer member 9 is interposed between the bracket 13 and the motor support portion 7. Accordingly, noise produced by the motor can be reduced effectively.
