To provide a washing and drying machine which can bring antibacterial and deodorant action and heating in a sanitary space with simple composition.

A blower fan 70, an ion generator 74 and a heater 72 are supported in a unitized state at an inside of an upper part of a housing 1 of a washing and drying machine 100. An induction tube 64 is joined to a discharge side of the blower fan 70, and a delivery tube 81 is joined to diverge from the induction tube 64 at some downstream side of the heater 72. The delivery tube 81 reaches in front side of the washing and drying machine 100 along a top board of the housing 1 and connects to an air outlet 83 provided at an upper part of a front face of the housing 1. A damper 82 is provided at the connecting part of the delivery tube 81 and the induction tube 64. With the damper 82 closing the induction tube 64, ions are generated from an ion generator 74, and air heated by the heater 72 spurts from the air outlet 83 through the delivery tube 81.
