Abstract:

To provide a drum type washing and drying machine which achieves drying performance with good efficiency and energy saving.

Control means detects a cooling medium 37 temperature at a cooling medium temperature sensor 39 in a heat pump device 30 at the starting time of one of a washing step, a rinsing step and a dewatering step. When the cooling medium 37 temperature is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature, and when an operation course in which a preset water temperature value is equal to or higher than a predetermined water temperature value is selected at an input unit 14, the control means raises the cooling medium 37 temperature to equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature by making a compressor 32 rotate at low speed or by only energizing the compressor 32, and shifts to a drying step.
