Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine capable of preventing damage to a compressor caused by restart.SOLUTION: In a washing and drying machine, a control section (15) includes: determination means for an operation mode after power-on which determines whether or not an operation mode after power-on is drying operation using a heat pump unit (13); determination means for an operation mode at power-off which, when the determination means for an operation mode after power-on determines that the operation mode after power-on is the drying operation, determines whether or not an operation mode stored in a nonvolatile storage section (17) is the drying operation; and compressor start determination means which, when the determination means for an operation mode at power-off determines that the operation mode stored in the nonvolatile storage section (17) is the drying operation, determines whether or not to start a compressor on the basis of a period which has elapsed from a specific time.
