Abstract:
To provide a washing and drying machine which suppresses splash of cooling water in a drying duct 12 for performing water cooling dehumidification.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes an outer tub 9, a washing and dewatering tub 8 where laundry is inputted, a blower part 20 and a hot air heater 21. During a drying operation, the hot air sucked from the outer tub is water-cooled and dehumidified by cooling water in a drying duct, and hot air is supplied to the washing and dewatering tub by the blower part and the heater. The drying duct includes a wall part which includes a heat exchange plate 26 for separating a hot air passage and cooling water. Furthermore, the surface on the hot air passage side of the heat exchange plate is a smooth surface without irregularity, and on the opposite surface from the hot air passage of the heat exchange plate, ribs for accumulating cooling water to be supplied and irregularity are provided. Also, the cooling water and dew condensation water of the heat exchange plate are drained to the outside of the machine from a drain path connected to a bottom part of the drying duct.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
