Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine allowing a drying operation of less power consumption without exhausting high humid air or odor in a room.SOLUTION: In the last half of a drying process, a compressor of a heat pump is stopped, air in a space from the upper surface of an outer drum to a casing is sucked into an air flow path, part or whole of air discharged from the outer tub through water sealing of a drain trap, is exhausted through an exhaust hose, and power consumption is reduced. After the drying process, water is supplied to the drain trap, water sealing of the drain trap is restored, and odor from a drain outlet is inhibited even after the drying operation.
