Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/drying machine capable of carrying out a drying process for an appropriate time according to a cloth amount and a cloth quality of laundry to inhibit the laundry from becoming undried or excessively dried after finishing the drying process, and suppress consumption of a waste electric power.SOLUTION: A control part 7 of a washing/drying machine 100 controls operation of a drying part 6 in such a manner that it detects a cloth amount of laundry contained in a drum 4, determines whether the quality of the laundry is hydrophilic or hydrophobic based on a predetermined criteria, and sets a lower limit operating time from a time point for the drying part 6 to begin operating until a time point to begin determining to stop operation and an upper limit operating time to stop operation by a time elapsed from the time point to begin operating regardless of a result of the determination.
