Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine that can sufficiently eliminate creasing of and a mechanical damage to laundry in a dehydrating operation and can make a finishing condition of the laundry sufficiently desirable when the laundry is dried.SOLUTION: There is provided a washing and drying machine that has functions to wash laundry within a rotary tub housed in a water tub, then to dewater the washed laundry by rotating the rotary tub, and then to dry the dewatered laundry. In the dewatering proces, a high-speed rotational operation of the rotary tub in which laundry is stuck to a peripheral wall of the rotary tub and an unbalance canceling rotational operation of the rotary tub in which the laundry is not stuck to the peripheral wall of the rotary tub are alternately performed for a plurality of times. In the washing and drying machine, a high quality finishing course can be executed, the high quality finishing course corresponding to a standard course in which the high-speed rotational operation of the rotary tub is eliminated in the final stage in the dewatering process.
