Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine which has a drum that is rotatable around a horizontal axis and which can achieve energy saving while drying clothing.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: an intake port for taking in the outside air into a water tub; and an exhaust port for exhausting the air in the water tub. The washing and drying machine is constituted in such a manner that, according to the rotation of a drum by a drive device, by the flow of the wind generating by the rotation of the drum, the air taken in from the intake port is exhausted from the exhaust port to the outside of the water tub through the drum and the clothing in the drum is dried.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
