Abstract:
To provide a washing machine and a method for changing the amount of a treatment agent which can prevent deterioration in washing performance.SOLUTION: A washing machine 100 includes a rotating drum 24, a measurement unit 70, a water supply unit 30, a treatment agent feeding device 40, an operation unit 62, a water supply determination unit 11, and a treatment agent amount changing unit 12. The rotating drum 24 contains laundry. The measurement unit 70 measures the amount of laundry contained in the rotating drum 24. The water supply unit 30 supplies water to the rotating drum 24. The treatment agent feeding device 40 feeds a laundry treatment agent to the rotating drum 24. The operation unit 62 receives an instruction from a user. The water supply determination unit 11 determines, according to the result of the measurement performed by the measurement unit 70, a first water amount which is the amount of water to be fed to the rotating drum 24 and a first treatment agent amount which is the amount of the laundry treatment agent to be fed to the rotating drum 24. The treatment agent amount changing unit 12 changes, when an instruction to change the first water amount to a second water amount is received by the operation unit 62 after the water supply determination unit 11 has determined the first water amount and the first treatment agent amount, the first treatment agent amount to a second treatment agent amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
