To provide a washing machine that can rapidly immerse water with whole laundry at supplying the water at a former step of washing, even though an amount of the laundry within a rotating tank is loaded with pseudo-high force.
A washing machine comprises: a washing body having an entry of laundry at its upper surface portion; a water tank elastically supported within the washing body; a rotating tank rotatably provided within the water tank; an agitator rotatably provided within the rotating tank; a water supplying unit provided at an upper portion of the washing body and supplying the water within the rotating tank; and controlling means controlling a washing operation from the washing by rotating the agitator to dewatering by rotating the rotating tank. The controlling means controls to rotate the tanks such that it allows the rotating tank to rotate at a first rotating speed while allowing the water supplying unit to supply the water, followed by allowing the rotating tank to rotate with a second rotating speed larger than the first rotating speed.
