To provide a washing machine which improves drying efficiency during blow drying.
A washing machine includes: an upper frame 24 provided at an upper part of a washing machine body; a laundry putting in/taking out port 25 provided at the upper frame 24; a lid body 26 which covers the laundry putting in/taking out port 25 in an openable/closable manner; an air intake hole 26a formed on the lid body 26; a washing and dewatering tub 15 for accommodating laundry and having dewatering holes 16 on a side wall; a motor 20 for rotatably driving the washing and dewatering tub 15; an annular fluid balancer 17 provided at an upper part of the washing and dewatering tub 15; and a fan cap 50 having blades 53 which are attachably/detachably mounted on an inner peripheral side of the fluid balancer 17 and which blow air to the inside of the washing and dewatering tub 15. Outside air is introduced from the air intake hole 26a by rotating the washing and dewatering tub 15, and air is blown to the inside of the washing and dewatering tub 15; thereby, the dry outside air can be taken into the washing and dewatering tub efficiently, so that laundry can be dried in a short time.
